Over the last two decades she’s headed up her own company, Carol Provan Fashion Promotions, successfully securing her name right across Australia and the world as a highly respected and in-demand stylist, publicist, liaison representative, and special events coordinator, conceptualising and producing an endless number of large-scale gala events and publicity launches for major clients including Castle Towers Cosmopolitan Centre, Chatswood Chase, the Italian Forum, Mid City Centre, MLC Centre, Neeta City, Riverbank, Rockdale Plaza, St. Ives Shopping Centre, Skygarden, and Westfield Shopping Centres.

Brimming with expert business acumen and savvy marketing means, combined with fresh artistic originality and natural creative flair, Carol Provan’s credentials also comprise a long list of public relations and event organising credits, including special gala and social events with the Australian Jockey Club’s renowned Race Days, Double Bay Euro Street Festivals, Norton Street Leichhardt Festivals, and the Cutting In Youth Fashion Design Awards, as well as the International Beauty Expos in Sydney and Melbourne – the country’s only industry event for beauty professionals. Carol’s also worked with a wide range of leading local fashionista icons that would make anyone enviable, from Peter Morrissey, Lisa Ho and David Lawrence through to Country Road, JAG, and Sportscraft.

But if that’s not enough, Carol Provan also successfully navigated a later career as a leading corporate stylist over the years with clients including Ansett Airlines, TNT, and Accor’s luxury brand of Sofitel hotels and resorts throughout the Asia Pacific. And she even ran for local council, serving her community for 8 years and holding office as the Mayor of Sutherland Shire Council during the nation’s bicentenary.

Based in Sydney, Carol Provan sees variety as the essential ingredient in her passion and success in the world of fashion, arming her with the skills necessary to take on any project of any size. “Maximum variety is essential to giving me the ability to develop myself as a versatile businesswoman, whether it’s styling, compering, organising, or television presenting, and to collect the necessary tools to enable me to further place myself professionally at the top of my field,” she tells.

These days you’ll find Carol Provan continuing her television commitments, hosting a number of advertorials for the likes of Danoz Direct, TVSN, Hollard Insurance and many more in her 8 years on air, while also juggling editorial commitments for several publications, including a number of titles with Bella Media, as an authoritative spokesperson on fashion and beauty. Carol is also working with Adpro Management, the agency behind Miss Universe, as part of the selection committee in search of this year’s Australian representative, all the while as she continues her work in fashion all over the country.
