Aniela Hedditch
Singer/Dancer/Model/TV Presenter & Reporter/Radio Writer & Producer/MC/Voice Over
Aniela Hedditch lives by the adage…. “jack of all trades, master of none.” However by no means does the reference indicate she is not good at what she does. Aniela is a talented singer and dancer, an
accomplished presenter, reporter, writer and producer in both television and radio and an experienced executive assistant and marketing manager.
Aniela’s television career began at Channel 7 in Brisbane after she showed dedication and enthusiasm during months of work experience. At the age of 22 she was rewarded with a position as reporter on a
local Brisbane Movie Program called ‘Popcorn’. This entailed her re-viewing the latest movie, video and electronic game releases for the show and interviewing renowned local and international stars.
In 1999 Aniela became a regular on Seven Brisbane’s locally produced lifestyle program ‘The Great South East’. This saw her travelling throughout South East Queensland reporting on events and issues ranging
from Women’s Rugby League to Weekend Health Retreats. Not long after, she also joined Seven’s local fishing and boating show, ‘Creek To Coast’.
In 2000 Aniela became the Entertainment Reporter of another Brisbane production ‘Local Edition’. This live community current-affairs program gave Aniela the opportunity to produce her own stories on a wide
variety of topics involving entertainment. Unfortunately, the show was short lived but fortuitously whilst covering the audition process for the Seven Network’s ‘Popstars 2’, she auditioned and was successful
in progressing to the final 12 contestants in Australia giving her valuable exposure.
In 2001 Aniela enjoyed a special association as a regular ‘sidekick’ with Australia’s favourite children’s puppet ‘Agro’ making appearances throughout Brisbane shopping centres.
In 2002 Aniela moved south to Sydney to further her career in the media industry. This led her to becoming the “Executive Producer” of the Late ‘Stan Zemanek Night Time Radio Program’ which was heard around
Australia from 8pm until midnight on the Southern Cross Radio Network. She worked with the “Beast” from the TV series “Beauty and the Beast” for three years and loved it.
During this time Aniela was also a regular presenter on ‘Channel 10’s Bright Ideas’ program, which was an advertorial program seen around Australia every Saturday from midday. She was part of the ‘Bright
Ideas’ team from June 2004 until the show wrapped in 2005.
In July 2006, Aniela was selected by the ‘Forces Advisory Council on Entertainment’, a division of the Australian Defence Force, to tour the Middle East and entertain the Australian and coalition forces
deployed in the area. She was the Master of Ceremonies and sang and was joined by Australian Idol 2005 finalist Lee Harding. In June 2008 Aniela will once again provide entertainment to our deployed
servicemen and women when she travels to East Timor with Kevin Bloody Wilson and other talented Australians.
Aniela is also a supporter of the Australian Liberal Party and has been privileged to sing the Australian National Anthem at numerous functions and events. Most notably she sang the anthem in front of the
Honourable Mr. John Howard at his Tribute Dinner on 7th May 2008.
Aniela will once again be appearing on national television as a presenter on ‘Do-It’ an infomercial style program. It’s set to air late May at midday on ‘Channel 9’, hosted by Luke Van Dyck. When Aniela
doesn’t have television commitments she works as the ‘Marketing and Events Manager for Maven Financial – Personal Wealth Specialists’.
Travels from Gold Coast.
