For Jo Bouris it all started with a live date on the Footy Show! This opportunity cemented Jo’s passion to be in the television industry.
With this in mind Jo spent the next four years in commercial radio on the Sunshine Coast (92.7 Mix FM and 91.9 Sea FM) and the past 6 months in community radio (96five) Brisbane both on air and behind the scenes, until her recent move to Sydney.
During that time she presented for an on line video with Sunshine Coast Tourism and completed work experience with The Shak (Ch 9), Sharky’s Friends (Ambience) and Totally Wild (Ch 10).
Her biggest highlight so far was in November 2004 when she got married live on the ‘Today Show’s Marry in the Morning’!
She has also presented for different organisations’ National Conference announcements over the past 5 years and recently worked with Choicez Media on a DVD for year 10 students about the choices they make in life.
Jo is easy to work with, passionate about media and loves the challenge of presenting! She is most interested in life style presenting, children and health shows and presenting for documentaries.
She is currently working as a Breakfast Announcer at 106five FM on the Sunshine Coast and enjoying being mum to her 3 children. Jo can think on her feet, is positive, fresh faced and has a great smile!
