Here’s an example:

Blendtec – an American Blender company who honestly believed their Total Blender was the best in the market. It was industrial strength blending for at-home use. But how were they to convince their customers this was true and to get them to buy it? The story goes something like this... The head of R&D donned a white lab coat and protective glasses, set up a video camera in his lab and started filming his little segment ‘Will it Blend?’. He decided to prove to customers that his Total Blender could blend anything… and he did. Anything you can think of, he blended on camera and then uploaded to YouTube - free. Rubik’s Cubes, Hearing Aides, TV Controllers and to Apple iPhones were blended and the YouTube social networkers loved it. It was found and forwarded all around the world and suddenly, Blendtec had a whole new customer base.

Since starting the Vlog in October 2006 they have had nearly 2million views on YouTube and are regularly the week or month’s #1 most subscribed Partner on YouTube. But the best news is that it increased Blendtec‘ online sales by a staggering 650%!!! Check out the very successful campaign at http://www.youtube.com/user/Blendtec
